Akliouche available for PSG-Barça despite ankle injury
Luis Enrique has an almost complete squad to host FC Barcelona in the Champions League. Maghnes Akliouche, who suffered an ankle injury at Strasbourg, is included in the PSG group.
Maghnes Akliouche will travel to Parc des Princes for the third matchday of the Champions League between PSG and FC Barcelona. Uncertain after a rough tackle received during the match at Strasbourg, the French international participated in collective training on Monday and was retained by Luis Enrique.
The Spanish manager can rely on an almost complete squad. The only absences are those of Nuno Mendes, ruled out due to a thigh injury announced on Sunday, and third-choice goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni.
A starter at the Etihad Stadium last week against Manchester City, Akliouche could nevertheless lose his place in the starting eleven to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, signed this summer from Naples.
PSG squad: Safonov, Chevalier, Mouak — Marquinhos, Pacho, Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Digne, Hernandez — Vitinha, Neves, Ruiz, Zaïre-Emery, Dro, Beraldo, Mayulu — Dembélé, Torres, Kvaratskhelia, Akliouche, Doué, Godts, Ndjantou.
Probable lineups
PSG: Safonov — Hakimi, Marquinhos (c), Pacho, Zaïre-Emery — Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz — Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé, Doué.
FC Barcelona: J. Garcia — Espart, Cubarsi, Martin, Cancelo — Rodri, Pedri — Yamal, Fermin, Gordon — Raphinha (c).
