What we collect

SportsCatch is a read-only news site. There are no accounts and no logins. We do not require a name, email address, or any personal identifier to read articles or browse the match centre.

Cookies

We set a single first-party cookie to remember your dark / light theme preference. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not load third-party advertising or analytics that fingerprint readers.

Server logs

Our servers log request paths, timestamps, response codes, IP address, and user-agent — the standard set required to operate the service and diagnose abuse. Logs are kept for 30 days, then deleted.

Third-party content

Images on news articles are typically hosted by the originating publisher's CDN (BBC, ESPN, Sky Sports, Guardian, motorsport.com, etc.). When you load an article page, your browser fetches those images directly from those CDNs — they may set their own cookies. We have no control over their privacy policies.

Rights

Because we do not store personal data tied to an identity, GDPR / CCPA subject-access requests have nothing to return. If you are a private individual named in a news article and you want that mention removed, please contact us via the contact page.
