Corrections policy

When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and visibly. Any factual error you find — a wrong score, a misspelled name, a date off by a day — please flag it via the contact page.

How we correct

1. The article is updated immediately with the correct fact.
2. The `dateModified` of the article's structured data is bumped, so AI engines and search crawlers see the fresher version.
3. For material corrections (incorrect attribution, factual reversal), we append a short correction note at the foot of the article describing the change and the date.
4. Minor copy-edits (typos, formatting) are not annotated.

Retractions

If an article cannot be salvaged with corrections — for example, when the source story is retracted by the original publisher — we retract the article. Retracted URLs return 410 Gone with a short notice explaining the retraction and pointing to the originating publisher's notice.
