Yan Diomandé agrees with PSG, but Leipzig demands €130M
Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomandé, 19, has reportedly reached a preliminary agreement with PSG through 2031, but negotiations with RB Leipzig remain stalled over a transfer fee around €130 million.
Yan Diomandé has expressed his preference for Paris Saint-Germain in his summer transfer, but the deal is blocked by RB Leipzig’s financial demands, who are seeking approximately €130 million for their 19-year-old winger.
According to journalist Olivier Tallaron, an agreement has been reached between PSG and the player on a contract running through 2031. The Athletic confirms that Leipzig has set its price at nearly €130 million, a sum that Paris executives do not appear willing to match immediately.
“Paris wants to show patience in this matter. Discussions with Leipzig are ongoing and are in a normal timing process,” Tallaron said on X, suggesting that negotiations between the two clubs continue without any declared urgency.
After a strong season with Leipzig, Diomandé had also caught the attention of Liverpool, who were seeking a successor to Mohamed Salah. The Ivory Coast international reportedly clearly oriented his choice toward the French capital and coach Luis Enrique.
PSG, back-to-back Ligue 1 champions, still have several weeks to find common ground with the German club. The outcome of this saga will largely depend on the financial flexibility both parties are willing to accept.
