The 2026 FIFA World Cup gets underway on Thursday, June 11, when host nation Mexico face South Africa in the tournament opener, with the final scheduled for July 19. Spread across 16 venues in the United States, Canada and Mexico, the competition features 104 matches over 39 days — 40 more games than the 2022 edition in Qatar.

This summer’s tournament marks the first time the World Cup has expanded to 48 participating nations. The teams are divided into 12 groups of four, with the top two from each group and the eight best third-place finishers advancing to a new round of 32. From that point, the competition is straight knockout format through to the final.

England, under head coach Thomas Tuchel, are among the 48 nations that confirmed their final 26-man squads ahead of the June 1 deadline. With up to six fixtures scheduled on any given day during the group stage, keeping track of the schedule will require some organisation.

A free printable wallchart allows fans to follow every result from the group stage through to the final, with dates and kick-off times listed alongside each fixture. The World Cup groups were confirmed after the draw held in December, with the last qualifying places settled in March.
