Unbeaten Habirora faces former PFL MENA champion El Dafrawy in Dubai co-main event
Undefeated Belgian welterweight Patrick Habirora (9-0) will meet former PFL MENA champion Omar El Dafrawy (16-6) in the co-main event of PFL Dubai on November 14 at the Coca-Cola Arena.
Undefeated Belgian welterweight Patrick Habirora will put his perfect record on the line against former PFL MENA welterweight champion Omar El Dafrawy in the co-main event of PFL Dubai on November 14 at the Coca-Cola Arena.
Habirora, 25, enters the bout at 9-0 with eight of his nine wins coming by knockout — seven of them in the opening round. His most recent performance underlined just how explosive he can be: he stopped former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson in just 20 seconds at PFL Brussels, a result that cemented his status as one of the promotion’s most dangerous welterweight prospects.
El Dafrawy brings a significant experience advantage to the matchup. The 31-year-old Egyptian holds a 16-6 professional record, with nine knockout victories and three submission wins to his name. He is currently riding a two-fight winning streak and stands at 6-1 inside the PFL, having previously claimed the MENA welterweight title.
The contrast in styles and career stages makes this a compelling contest. Habirora’s relentless finishing ability will be tested against an opponent who has navigated far more rounds at a high level and knows what it takes to win a PFL championship.
The Dubai card is headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Vadim Nemkov and Sergey Bilostenniy.
