All 26 fighters on the UFC Fight Night 277 card in Macau cleared the scales on Friday, setting up a five-round bantamweight main event between Song Yadong and Deiveson Figueiredo on Saturday, May 30. Song weighed in at exactly 136 pounds, while Figueiredo came in at 135.5 pounds.

Song (22-9-1, 1 NC) is fighting on home soil for the first time since 2018, a gap that has seen the 28-year-old cement himself as a legitimate bantamweight contender. Despite losses to Sean O’Malley, Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen, he enters this contest 3-2 in his last five outings and is making his fifth appearance as a UFC main-event headliner.

Figueiredo (25-6-1) arrives in Macau on a three-fight losing streak, having been stopped or outpointed by Umar Nurmagomedov, Sandhagen and Yan. The 38-year-old former flyweight champion still carries credible wins over Montel Jackson, Marlon Vera and Cody Garbrandt, and faces a main-event opponent a full decade his junior.

Elsewhere on the card, heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich (257 lbs) faces unbeaten Brazilian prospect Tallison Teixeira (250 lbs) in a co-main event that carries significant divisional implications. Light heavyweight Alonzo Menifield (206 lbs) meets China’s Mingyang Zhang (205 lbs), while former Rizin bantamweight champion Kai Asakura (135.5 lbs) makes his UFC debut against Cameron Smotherman (135.5 lbs).
