Song Yadong and Figueiredo make weight for UFC Macau bantamweight headliner

All 26 fighters on the UFC Macau card made weight at Friday morning’s official weigh-ins, clearing the path for Saturday’s event headlined by Song Yadong and Deiveson Figueiredo. Both men hit the 136-pound bantamweight limit for their non-title fight, with the two also squaring off in a face-off following the scale ceremony.

Song enters the main event ranked No. 7 at bantamweight in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, while Figueiredo — a two-time flyweight champion making his mark in the 135-pound division — sits two places behind at No. 9.

In the co-main event, light heavyweights Zhang Mingyang and Alonzo Menifield both came in under the 206-pound non-title limit, with Zhang registering 205 pounds and Menifield 206. Heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich weighed in at 257 pounds against Tallison Teixeira, who came in at 250 pounds.

The full prelim lineup also includes Yi Sak Lee vs. Luis Felipe Dias, Ding Meng vs. Jose Souza, Aoriqileng vs. Cody Haddon, Zhu Kangjie vs. Rodrigo Vera.
