Raul Rosas Jr. claimed the inaugural ACBJJ All-Stars grappling title in Moscow on Saturday, submitting last-minute replacement Khasan Magomedsharipov by rear-naked choke at ACBJJ 21. The UFC bantamweight, who carries a 12-1 professional record, secured the no-gi victory after his scheduled opponent pulled out earlier in the week.

Rosas Jr. had originally been matched against Zabit Magomedsharipov in what would have been the Russian fighter’s first competitive appearance since 2019. When Zabit withdrew with an injury, his brother Khasan — an undefeated Professional Fighters League featherweight with an 11-0 record — stepped in on short notice to contest the title.

“El Nino Problema” made the most of the opportunity, finishing Khasan and walking away with the championship belt. Following the bout, Rosas Jr. shared a face-off with Zabit, who is expected to return to grappling competition in the near future.

The result extends a strong run of form for the 20-year-old, who is currently riding a five-fight winning streak inside the UFC Octagon. His most recent MMA victories came against Vince Morales and Rob Font, cementing his status as one of the promotion’s most promising bantamweights.

Zabit, meanwhile, remains a notable name in MMA circles despite his extended absence. His last Octagon outing was a decision win over Calvin Kattar in a Fight Night main event, a performance that underlined his talent before he stepped away from competition.
