England Rugby have confirmed that the Red Roses’ 2027 Guinness Women’s Six Nations finale against France will take place at Allianz Stadium on Saturday 15 May, with kick-off scheduled for 16:45. The announcement adds another high-profile venue to what promises to be a landmark campaign for the women’s game.

In the two sides’ past five meetings, an average of just over 60 points have been scored, underlining the attacking quality that has made this fixture one of the most anticipated in the women’s calendar.

“Games against France are always a competitive battle and that’s what makes it one of the most enjoyable games to play in,” said England captain Meg Jones. “When you add the walk-in from the bus, the roar of the Allianz Stadium crowd and a sea of cowboy hats, it makes it an even more incredible occasion. It’s one we relish and are looking forward to.”

England Rugby also confirmed that the Red Roses’ Round 3 fixture against Italy will be staged at Franklin’s Gardens in Northampton on Saturday 24 April, with kick-off at 17:00. The two sides previously met at the same venue in 2023, when England ran out 68-5 winners with Abby Dow scoring four tries.

“Franklin’s Gardens is a hotbed for English rugby and we love playing there,” said England and Loughborough Lightning back Helena Rowland. “You saw in the 2025 Rugby World Cup how amazing a place it is for women’s rugby and how much the fans embraced having a Red Roses match there. The crowd was absolutely electric that day, as it always is when we play there, and no doubt it will be the same against Italy next year.”

The venue for England’s home Round 2 fixture against Scotland is yet to be announced. In the meantime, the Red Roses are in the midst of their WXV Global Series campaign, having opened with a 48-15 victory over Australia. They face Canada at Sandy Park on Saturday 19 September before a clash with the Black Ferns on 26 September, for which 50,000 tickets have already been sold.
