Paris Saint-Germain has engaged discussions with Michael Olise and his camp regarding a transfer during the next summer transfer window, journalist Malick Traoré confirmed on X. According to him, these contacts reportedly began before the World Cup.

The 24-year-old winger is no stranger to PSG: the Paris club had already expressed interest during the previous summer window, without following through. Last summer, Real Madrid also tried their luck, unsuccessfully, with Bayern Munich keeping hold of their player.

The deal promises to be very difficult for Paris nonetheless. The Bavarian club has no intention of parting with the French international, whose contract runs until June 2029. According to information reported by Malick Traoré, negotiations are underway to extend the deal until 2032, accompanied by a significant salary increase: figures suggest 25 million euros per year, which would make Olise Bayern Munich’s highest-paid player.

Arriving from Crystal Palace in summer 2024, Olise quickly established himself as one of the most decisive players in the German championship. His offensive versatility, his ability to beat defenders and his finishing efficiency make him a top target for Europe’s biggest clubs. PSG, seeking high-level attacking reinforcements, is closely monitoring the situation, but will have to contend with Bayern’s determination to keep — and secure the loyalty of — one of their major assets.
