PFL pulls MENA 10 from Jeddah schedule days before debut headliner
The Professional Fighters League has postponed PFL MENA 10 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia until further notice, citing internal operational and event readiness concerns. The card was set to be headlined by Hattan Alsaif's professional MMA debut.
The Professional Fighters League has postponed PFL MENA 10, its Jeddah event scheduled for Friday, June 20, pulling the card just days out and leaving the new date open-ended. The promotion announced the decision on Wednesday, June 18, stating the event has been pushed back “until further notice” while it evaluates alternative dates.
In a statement, the PFL cited “internal operational and event readiness considerations” as the reason for the delay, stopping short of providing specific details. “We remain committed to hosting PFL MENA in Jeddah and look forward to welcoming fans for what promises to be another exciting night of world-class mixed martial arts action,” the release read.
The postponement is a significant disruption to a card that carried genuine storyline weight. Headlining PFL MENA 10 was to be Hattan Alsaif making her professional MMA debut against Dania Ouhachi in a 110-pound catchweight bout — a high-profile local attraction for the Saudi market the PFL has been actively cultivating through its MENA division.
Also affected is opening-round tournament action at both featherweight and welterweight, which will now need to be rescheduled. The PFL said it will provide an update on new dates as soon as more information is available.
The postponement adds uncertainty to the PFL MENA calendar at a moment when the promotion has been expanding its footprint in the Middle East. No fighters, officials, or partners have publicly commented beyond the organisation’s formal statement.
