Peek and Campbell's featherweight clash added to UFC Paris card on September 5
Trevor Peek and Kurtis Campbell have been booked for a featherweight bout at UFC Paris on September 5 at Accor Arena. Peek enters on a two-fight losing streak, while Campbell is still searching for his first UFC win after suffering his first career loss in March.
Trevor Peek and Kurtis Campbell will meet in a featherweight contest at UFC Paris on September 5 at Accor Arena, with multiple sources confirming the matchup ahead of the promotion’s return to the French capital.
Peek (9-3) arrived in the UFC in 2022 as a highly touted prospect but has struggled to find his footing, going 2-3 inside the Octagon and currently riding a two-fight losing streak. Campbell (8-1) earned his UFC contract with a first-round knockout on the Contender Series last year, coming in undefeated and as a heavy favourite for his promotional debut.
That debut, however, did not go to plan. Facing Danny Silva in London this past March, Campbell was competitive through the first round before Silva stopped him by knockout early in the second — handing the Englishman the first professional loss of his career.
The Peek vs. Campbell featherweight bout joins only one other confirmed matchup on the UFC Paris card: a flyweight clash between Michael Aljarouj and Fabia Sintes, with both fighters set to make their Octagon debuts at 125 pounds.
With the card still taking shape, the September 5 event figures to be headlined by higher-profile bouts yet to be announced.
