Olympique de Marseille have officially announced the signing of Jephthe Malanda, an 18-year-old striker trained at Lille, who has committed until 2029 and will join the club's Pro 2 squad.
Olympique de Marseille have officially announced the signing of Jephthe Malanda, an 18-year-old striker from LOSC, tied to the Marseille club until 2029.
Formed at Lille’s academy, Malanda has successively played for the U17, U19 and National 3 teams of the Dogues before making the move across France to join the Canebière. He will directly join OM’s Pro 2 squad, the club’s second tier behind the first team.
With a contract running until 2029, Marseille are giving themselves time to develop the young striker, who will be 23 years old when his commitment expires.
