The four French clubs competing in European competition will learn their opponents this Friday, August 28 during the league phase draws for the Europa League and Conference League, organized at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Three teams have qualified for the Europa League: Olympique de Marseille, Stade Rennais and Olympique Lyonnais, the latter having been relegated to the Europa League after their elimination in the Champions League play-offs against Fenerbahçe (1-1, 1-2). AS Monaco, meanwhile, is the sole French representative in the Conference League, after comfortably disposing of Gornik Zabrze (3-2, 4-1).

Regarding the pots, OL and OM have been placed in pot 1 of the Europa League, a sign of favorable seeding status. Rennes finds itself in pot 2. Monaco, for its part, is in pot 1 of the Conference League.

The day before, the Champions League draw had already reserved top-tier matchups for the French clubs competing in the competition — PSG, RC Lens and LOSC.
