McTominay's personal company nears £6m as Napoli star recovers from heart procedure

Scott McTominay’s off-pitch finances are in robust health even as the Napoli midfielder recovers from a minor cardiac procedure, with the latest Companies House filings showing his personal company approaching a £6m net valuation.

Scott McTominay Limited recorded overall assets of £6.1m at the end of 2025, comprising a £1m property portfolio, £4m in investments and £1m owed by debtors. After creditors were settled, the company’s net value stood at just under £6m — an increase of £385,000 on the previous year’s figure.

McTominay founded the company in 2017, shortly after breaking into the Manchester United first team. He is its sole director and shareholder, with the firm registered as operating across broadcasting activities, the buying and selling of real estate, and media representation services. Its first accounts, filed in 2018, showed shareholder funds of just £269,000, illustrating how sharply the business has grown alongside his playing career.

On the pitch, the 28-year-old — who turns 29 this year — has thrived since leaving United for Napoli in the summer of 2024. He contributed 13 goals as the club won the Serie A title in his debut season in Italy, and remains a key figure at the club, who sit ninth in the table after five games of the new campaign, six points behind early leaders Roma.

His momentum has been temporarily interrupted by a health issue. Earlier this month it was confirmed that McTominay had been diagnosed with a mild benign arrhythmia — an irregular heart rhythm deemed non-serious and posing no significant risk to overall health. He underwent an ablation procedure at Spire Manchester Hospital, which Napoli described as “a complete success,” with the club confirming he would rest for two weeks before resuming training.

The enforced absence means McTominay missed Napoli’s Champions League opener against Arsenal and will sit out Scotland’s upcoming Nations League fixtures against Slovenia (home and away), Switzerland and North Macedonia. The Scottish Football Association posted a public message of support, writing: “Wishing you all the best in your recovery, Scott. Hope to see you back in a Scotland shirt soon.”
