Manchester United face Arsenal away before hosting Forest and Sunderland in festive run
The Premier League has released its 2026/27 fixture list, handing Manchester United a trip to the Emirates on December 19 before back-to-back home games against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day and Sunderland on December 30.
Manchester United will travel to the Emirates Stadium to face champions Arsenal on December 19 before hosting Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Boxing Day, as the Premier League’s 2026/27 fixture list confirms a demanding festive schedule for Ruben Amorim’s side.
Both of United’s games between Christmas and New Year are at home. After the Forest fixture on December 26, Michael Carrick’s Sunderland visit Old Trafford on Wednesday, December 30, with that game currently slated for an 8pm kick-off.
United then begin the new year on the road, travelling to Brighton’s Amex Stadium on Saturday, January 2, in a 3pm fixture. TV selections for the festive period are yet to be confirmed.
Last season United were the only Premier League side to play on Boxing Day, beating Newcastle United 1-0 at Old Trafford. This time around, Boxing Day falls on a Saturday, prompting the league to schedule a full round of fixtures.
