Luis Enrique extends PSG contract until 2030, five key players also sign new deals

PSG officially announced Luis Enrique’s contract extension until 2030 on Friday evening, just minutes before kick-off in the home fixture against AS Monaco at Parc des Princes. The Spanish manager, in position since 2023, was initially tied to the club until 2027.

Discussions had begun in early 2024 and a preliminary agreement was reached at the end of last season, but the signing had been delayed. The Paris management recently told L’Équipe: “We’ll keep you posted when everything is sorted.” That is now done.

Luis Enrique received a tribute from supporters present at the Parc, despite a subdued atmosphere due to a partial stadium closure that kept part of the CUP away. Since arriving on the Paris bench, the 56-year-old manager has led the club to two European titles, in 2025 and 2026.

PSG took the opportunity to announce several other extensions. Fabian Ruiz is now tied to the club until 2028. Willian Pacho, Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu all signed new contracts running until 2031. These successive announcements reflect the club’s desire to capitalize on continuity following its two consecutive European titles.
