Ludovit Klein and Tofiq Musayev will meet in a lightweight contest at UFC Fight Night 283, set for August 1 at Belgrade Arena. Musayev confirmed the matchup on social media following an initial report from Heavy.com.
The event, also known as UFC Belgrade, is headlined by a welterweight clash between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez.
Klein arrives in strong form, having won five of his last six Octagon appearances. The Slovak fighter, nicknamed “Mr. Highlight,” most recently earned a majority decision over Mateusz Rebecki at UFC 321 this past October.
Musayev brings a mixed record to the bout. A veteran of both Bellator and Rizin before joining the UFC, he sits at 1-1 in the promotion. His debut ended in a first-round submission loss to Myktybek Orolbai, but he responded with a points victory over Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC Seattle on March 28.
