AC Milan dominated Venezia 2-0 on Friday evening at San Siro during matchday 2 of Serie A, securing a second consecutive league victory.

Gonçalo Ramos, making his first home appearance in an official match in the rossonero shirt, broke the deadlock in the 69th minute. The Portuguese striker, who arrived from Paris Saint-Germain, gave his side the advantage before an own goal sealed the score at 82 minutes.

The previous weekend, Milan had won away at Torino (1-2) thanks to Adrien Rabiot, who was both goalscorer and provider of the decisive assist. With six points from two matches, the Lombard club has already established solid foundations for the start of their season.
