Five-man MMA battle royale ends with brutal blindside knockout at Dog Wild Tournament
Dog Wild Tournament's headlining battle royale featured five fighters in a single cage, with Mohamed Toure delivering a cold blindside knockout to Israel Campano before submitting Alberto Dominguez to claim the last-man-standing victory.
Mohamed Toure won Dog Wild Tournament’s five-man battle royale by first knocking out Israel Campano with a blindside shot, then submitting Alberto Dominguez to become the last man standing — a format that, against reasonable expectations, largely delivered as a spectacle.
The bout featured five fighters — Toure, Alberto Dominguez, Israel Campano, Bruno Villanova, and Ander Sanchez — competing simultaneously inside a single cage with the last man standing declared the winner. The format carries an obvious structural weakness: fighters can team up against a single opponent, leaving that person with little recourse. Campano found out the hard way, absorbing a blindside knockout from Toure that illustrated exactly how ruthless the numbers game can become. Once Campano was out, the contest effectively reset into a conventional one-on-one, which Toure closed out via submission.
The event was part of a broader Dog Wild Tournament card that also included intergender tag team MMA, sumo versus boxing, and phone-booth fighting, continuing the promotion’s reputation for unconventional matchmaking.
Elsewhere on the global circuit, Russia’s National Fight League produced a highlight of its own, as Mansur Soltamurado ended his bout with Ramazan Musaev via a powerful and accurate kick that drew comparisons to a punting specialist finding the back of the end zone.
Also drawing attention this past weekend was Renato Moicano’s new combat sports venture, Money Moicano MMA 1, which added to what has been a notably busy and varied stretch for the sport across multiple promotions and formats.
