Manon Fiorot and former UFC flyweight champion Alexa Grasso have been booked to face each other at Noche UFC on September 12 in Glendale, Arizona, multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans have confirmed.

Fiorot arrives off a mixed stretch that nonetheless underlines her standing as one of the division’s most dangerous fighters. The Frenchwoman went 7-0 inside the UFC before challenging Valentina Shevchenko for the flyweight title at UFC 315 in May 2025, dropping a competitive decision to the reigning champion. She responded emphatically at UFC Vancouver last October, stopping Jasmine Jasudavicius in just 74 seconds. Currently ranked No. 2 in MMA Fighting’s Global Rankings, Fiorot will be looking to force her way back into title contention with a statement win.

Grasso enters the bout having endured a difficult run, going winless in her previous three outings heading into 2026. That sequence included losing the flyweight title back to Shevchenko and suffering a decision defeat to Natalia Silva at UFC 315. However, the Mexican fighter delivered a forceful reminder of her finishing ability at UFC Seattle in March, producing what many observers described as one of the most vicious stoppages in UFC history against Maycee Barber.

With both women carrying recent losses to the current champion and each having demonstrated the ability to end fights spectacularly, the September 12 matchup carries genuine implications for the flyweight title race. A win for either fighter would represent a compelling case for a rematch with Shevchenko.
