Endrick wants to leave Real Madrid as early as January after playing just four minutes since the start of the season. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the 20-year-old Brazilian international has lost all hope of establishing himself under José Mourinho’s orders and is considering another winter loan.

The situation echoes last year: already starved of playing time in La Liga, Endrick joined Olympique Lyonnais in January, where he delivered a convincing season with eight goals and eight assists in twenty-one appearances. Selected for the World Cup in the process, he hoped to then establish himself permanently in the Madrid squad. The reality of this new season quickly dashed those hopes.

This time the Brazilian could turn to Serie A. AC Milan positioned itself first, according to Marca, and is working on a loan offer it hopes to make attractive for all parties. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the club’s shareholders, RedBird Capital and Gerry Cardinale, are counting on their privileged relations with Real Madrid to gain the upper hand over their direct competitor.

Because AS Roma has also expressed interest. The capital club has raised its hand to welcome the striker, turning this into a genuine duel between two Serie A sides.

On Milan’s side, the executives see in Endrick “the ideal piece to strengthen the attack,” according to terms reported by Marca. Blocked by dense competition in the Merengue’s attacking sector, the young Brazilian seems to have no choice but to go into exile again to find playing time.
