Désiré Doué has no intention of leaving Paris. While Bradley Barcola chose to join Liverpool this summer to get more playing time, the Golden Boy 2025 is taking a radically opposite stance: he wants to commit to PSG for the long term.

Currently tied to the club until June 2029, the former Rennes player has not yet received a contract extension proposal from the Paris management, according to the Paris Team X account. But the source is clear on his intentions: “In his mind, everything is already very clear: when an offer comes, discussions should be straightforward.” Doué “wants to commit to Paris for the long term, build a large part of his career there and sees himself at PSG for a long time.”

An extension should come with a salary increase. The Angers native currently earns approximately 500,000 euros gross per month, or six million euros annually. A new contract should logically raise this figure.

Furthermore, Paris could soon bring together the two Doué brothers. According to several sources, Paris management would have noted the name of Guéla Doué, a centre-back capable of also playing on the right side, as part of their summer recruitment. The matter is still in its early stages, but the prospect of a family collaboration at the Parc des Princes is gaining momentum.
