Darren Till made his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut at BKFC 90, held at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, squaring off against Aaron Chalmers in a light heavyweight contest on the co-main event of the card.

Chalmers, a former reality television personality, entered the fight with a 2-0 record in BKFC, giving him a clear experience edge over the debuting Till in the bare-knuckle format. Till, a longtime UFC middleweight contender, was making his first appearance under the BKFC banner after departing the world’s leading MMA promotion.

The main event of BKFC 90 featured Connor Tierney and Rico Franco competing for the interim BKFC welterweight title in a rematch with significant history between them. Franco stopped Tierney via first-round knockout at BKB 16 on March 30, 2019, in their original meeting, making Tierney’s pursuit of the interim belt a chance at redemption against the same opponent.

The full BKFC 90 main card also included John Phillips vs. Ryan Barrett, Jonno Chipchase vs. Brian Hyslop, George Thorpe vs. Leigh Cohoon, Michal Lesniak vs. Martin McDonough, Liam Hutchinson vs. Simeon Ottley, Paul O’Sullivan vs. Paul Hilz, and Tommy Hawthorn vs. Will Smith.

The preliminary card featured Kris Trezis vs. Luke Brassfield, Lucasz Parobiec vs. Kaseem Saleem, and Nathan Leeson vs. Stevie Devenport.
