Cris Cyborg will make what is expected to be her final MMA appearance on August 22, defending the PFL women’s featherweight championship against fellow Brazilian Ketlen Vieira at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. The Professional Fighters League confirmed the full card on Thursday, with the title bout headlining a stacked main card.
Cyborg, widely regarded as one of the greatest female fighters in MMA history, faces a credible final test in Vieira, a seasoned Brazilian veteran who has competed at the highest levels of the sport. The bout carries both a championship and a farewell dimension, giving it rare weight for a PFL event.
The main card also features former PFL lightweight champion Gadzhi Rabadanov (27-5-1), who returns to face promotion newcomer Tracy Reeder (12-5). At bantamweight, Gustavo Oliveira (13-2) meets 2025 PFL world tournament champion Marcirley Alves (15-5) in a matchup that pits a seasoned contender against a recently crowned titleholder.
In the light heavyweight co-feature, England’s Luke Trainer (10-1) — riding a five-fight winning streak — takes on undefeated PFL newcomer Roland Dunlap (7-0), a clash that carries genuine stakes for both men’s standing in the division.
The preliminary card adds further depth to the evening. Magomed Magomedov and Daniel Marcos meet at bantamweight, Taila Santos faces Sabrinna de Sousa at women’s flyweight, and Natan Schulte takes on Makkasharip Zaynukov at lightweight. Also on the prelims: Movsar Ibragimov vs. Javid Basharat (bantamweight), Dakota Bush vs. Morquez Forest (lightweight), Gino van Steenis vs. Robert Watley (lightweight), Florim Zendeli vs. Omran Chaaban (welterweight), and Eoin Sheridan vs. James Vake (welterweight).
PFL Tampa’s preliminary card begins at 5:30 p.m. ET, with the main card following at 9 p.m. ET on August 22.
