Como claimed their first win of the season with an away victory at Napoli (1-2) on Sunday in the second round of Serie A.

Cesc Fabregas’ team opened the scoring through Martin Baturina in the 17th minute, before Rasmus Hojlund equalized for the Partenopei in the 30th. Como’s response was swift: Tasos Douvikas restored the visitors’ advantage in the 34th minute, sealing a precious win in this clash between two clubs qualified for the Ligue des Champions.

After the draw conceded against Udinese (1-1) in the opening round, Como immediately climb back into the upper reaches of the table and confirm their ambitions for this season.

Napoli, meanwhile, have now gone two matches without a win and must quickly find the right formula before two demanding fixtures: a trip to Inter in Serie A, then hosting Arsenal in the Ligue des Champions.
