Carmouche and Khizriev headline PFL Chicago with two high-stakes rematches on October 16

The Professional Fighters League has unveiled the complete 14-fight card for PFL Chicago, headlined by two rematches when the promotion returns to Wintrust Arena on October 16.

Liz Carmouche (26-8) puts the inaugural PFL women’s flyweight title on the line against Jena Bishop (11-3) in the main event. Carmouche, riding a four-fight winning streak that includes three finishes, knocked Bishop out in their first meeting last year to claim the 2025 PFL flyweight world tournament. Bishop has since bounced back with consecutive first-round submission victories, setting up a compelling second chapter.

The co-main event brings another rematch with significant backstory. Undefeated Dagestani featherweight Timur Khizriev (18-0) steps back into competition after nearly two years away, having spent that time recovering from an armed attack and a broken hand. Khizriev edged Gabriel Braga (17-3) by split decision in their 2024 encounter, but Braga has gone 3-1 since, most recently defeating Cheyden Leialoha by decision, and arrives in Chicago with momentum on his side.
