The move began on the left flank, where Abde Ezzalzouli made a long run before laying off the Real Madrid forward in the box. After entering the area, Diaz finished with precision to give the Lions of the Atlas the advantage (1-0).
The match comes a week before Morocco’s entry into the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Mohamed Ouahbi’s side will face Brazil in their opening match of the tournament.
