BKB hires ex-UFC and PFL executive Loren Mack as CMO to drive global expansion
Bare Knuckle Boxing has appointed Loren Mack — a veteran of UFC, ONE Championship, and PFL — as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of strategy, tasking him with leading the promotion's global brand and growth ambitions.
Bare Knuckle Boxing has named Loren Mack as its chief marketing officer and executive vice president of strategy, the promotion announced Wednesday, with Mack bringing more than two decades of combat sports executive experience from the UFC, ONE Championship, and the Professional Fighters League.
Mack joins BKB — founded by entrepreneur Mike Vasquez and former professional fighter Dhafir “Dada 5000” Harris — after his most recent role as senior vice president of communications at PFL. The announcement came ahead of BKB’s upcoming show in Los Angeles on July 18.
In his new position, Mack will oversee global brand strategy, audience and content growth, live event demand generation, and the marketing operation behind BKB’s sponsorship and partnership portfolio. He will also sit on the senior leadership team and contribute to the organisation’s broader corporate strategy.
“BKB has achieved extraordinary growth over the past several years, and we’re assembling an executive team capable of taking the organisation to the next level,” BKB CEO David Tetreault said. “Loren brings a rare combination of strategic vision, marketing expertise, commercial leadership and deep industry relationships developed over more than two decades in sports. His experience building global brands and driving business growth will be invaluable as we continue expanding our audience, strengthening our partnerships, and continue to bring BKB to millions of fans around the world.”
The hire signals BKB’s intent to professionalise its front-office structure as bare-knuckle boxing continues to grow its footprint in the wider combat sports landscape. With Mack’s background spanning three of the sport’s most prominent global organisations, BKB is betting that institutional knowledge from the top of the MMA industry can accelerate its own trajectory.
