Bellingham extends Real Madrid contract until 2031 with salary increase
Signed in 2023 for €103 million, Jude Bellingham will extend his contract by two additional years with Real Madrid, tying him to the club until June 2031 with a salary increase.
Jude Bellingham will extend his spell at Real Madrid until June 2031, according to Madrid newspaper AS. The 23-year-old English midfielder, currently under contract until 2028, has reached an agreement with the Merengue board for two additional years, accompanied by a salary increase.
Arriving in summer 2023 from Borussia Dortmund for €103 million excluding bonuses, Bellingham is thus committing to the long term at the Maison Blanche. Discussions between the two parties reportedly began at the end of last season and concluded quickly, with the English international feeling fully integrated in the Spanish capital.
This extension confirms the central role Real Madrid intends to give Bellingham in its sporting project over the medium term. Since his arrival, the player developed at Birmingham has established himself as one of the key elements of the Madrid setup, delivering decisive performances in La Liga as well as the UEFA Champions League.
