Bayern Munich has been working for several weeks on extending Michael Olise’s contract, with the goal of taking it through to 2032 and including a release clause exceeding €200 million, according to German newspaper Bild.

The 24-year-old right winger is currently tied to the Bavarian club until 2029, which does not create immediate pressure. However, Bayern’s management wants to secure their player before Real Madrid and Liverpool make their move. A salary increase would accompany this new deal. The club’s executives want to clarify Olise’s intentions by summer 2027.

On the player’s side and his entourage’s, the inclusion of a release clause in the contract is a desired condition. The figure mentioned — more than €200 million — reflects Bayern’s determination not to let their player leave on the cheap.

This negotiation comes as Olise is enjoying a remarkable period of form. In the Bundesliga, he has already recorded 8 goals and 4 assists in 7 matches this season, figures in line with his previous campaign. With the France national team, he has been decisive during the latest international break against Turkey, Belgium and Italy, establishing himself as a key element of Zinédine Zidane’s project.
