Bayern ready to double Olise's salary to extend contract until 2032

Bayern Munich has drawn up a precise plan to extend Michael Olise beyond his current contract, which runs until June 2029, according to information published Tuesday by German newspaper Bild. The Bavarian club would be prepared to offer him a new deal until 2032, accompanied by a substantial salary increase.

Currently earning around €14 million per season, the French international could see his pay raised to €25 million annually, matching the two highest salaries at the club, Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala. By aligning Olise with its two stars, Munich’s management hopes to rule out any departure.

Last summer, rumors of Real Madrid’s interest circulated, formally denied by Bayern. Since arriving two years ago from Crystal Palace, the 23-year-old winger has established himself as one of the key elements of Bayern’s play, which has also earned him regular call-ups to the France national team.

For now, neither Michael Olise nor his agent, Glen Tweneboah, have made any move toward an extension, according to Bild. The player’s entourage would not be closed to talks, however, provided that a release clause — estimated at a minimum of €200 million — is included in the future contract. Bayern, for its part, would not formally oppose it. Discussions remain to be opened, but the framework set by Munich is now clear.
