Barcelona target Rafael Leão for over €60m, United and Tottenham also interested
After signing Anthony Gordon for €80 million, FC Barcelona has reportedly opened talks with AC Milan over Rafael Leão. The Rossoneri would be willing to sell the Portuguese international for over €60 million.
FC Barcelona has begun exploratory discussions with AC Milan over the transfer of Rafael Leão, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Catalan club, already active this summer with the arrival of Anthony Gordon for €80 million (bonuses included), has reportedly sounded out the Portuguese forward’s entourage and management.
The Rossoneri appear open to selling their number 10, provided they receive an offer exceeding €60 million. Leão, 27, trained notably at Lille before joining Milan, is currently competing in the World Cup with Portugal.
The former Lille player would himself be receptive to leaving the Lombard club, but Barcelona will not be alone in making a move. Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and several Saudi Pro League clubs are also reportedly among the contenders, which promises to drive up the bidding in the coming weeks.
