Audi F1 car and Koenigsegg Jesko craned onto $75m superyacht at Monaco
An Audi Formula 1 car and a Koenigsegg Jesko hypercar worth up to $3 million were lifted by crane onto the 236-foot Stella Maris superyacht in Monaco's harbour ahead of the Grand Prix weekend, organised by Ultimate Superyacht founder Tom Claeren.
An Audi Formula 1 car and a Koenigsegg Jesko hypercar were craned aboard the Stella Maris, a $75 million superyacht moored in Monaco’s harbour, in a stunt organised by Ultimate Superyacht founder Tom Claeren ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix on 5–7 June.
The Stella Maris, a 236-foot vessel built in 2015 and refitted in 2018, features a luxury spa, pool, beach club and gym. The Jesko was positioned on the yacht’s helipad while the Audi F1 car was placed on the beach club deck, joined by a sculpture of a Formula 1 car created by French artist Antoine Dulfilho.
Claeren has form for this kind of spectacle — he has previously arranged for a Ferrari F40 and a McLaren Solus GT to be placed on luxury yachts. A post documenting the Monaco installation had received more than 50,000 likes at the time of publication.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is estimated to be worth between $2.8 million and $3 million, though pricing varies given that each of the 125 units produced is highly customisable. The car is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 1,280 horsepower on standard fuel and up to 1,600 horsepower on E85 biofuel.
The Audi F1 car on display represents the German manufacturer’s first season as a works team, having taken over Sauber at the end of 2025. Audi currently sits ninth in the constructors’ standings with two points, their only score coming from Gabriel Bortoleto’s ninth-place finish at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
